Don’t Miss Taking a Fall Leaf Tour in Asheville This Year

With Autumn in full effect here in the Upstate area, many residents are starting to see the leaves slowly change from green to beautiful shades of red and yellow. While fall in Greenville and surrounding areas is beautiful in its own right, fall in the North Carolina mountains can’t be beat. Many South Carolina residents will head up to the Asheville area this year with Eastside limo service to see the mountain fall foliage in all its glory. We thought we would offer some tips for those looking to see peak color in Asheville this year and arrive in style with limo service or an executive car.

Leaf Season May Be Even Longer This Year

Because of an unseasonably warm summer in Asheville, the leaf season could actually last longer than in previous years. Scientists are attributing this to the warmer temperatures and low rainfall during the summer.

Asheville Serves As A Great Midpoint for Your Leaf Exploration

Asheville sits just a short drive from both the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway, both great spots to catch a peek at this year’s peak fall color. The Blue Ridge Parkway offers miles and miles of beautiful scenery where you can travel across multiple elevations to see the vast differences in leaf color this time of year. Why not arrive in style with our limo transportation?

Other Attractions Not To Miss Near Asheville

Aside from the beautiful fall color in Asheville, there are a variety of other attractions that will be sure to entertain you and your entire family. A few of these include:

  • Biltmore – Known as American’s largest home, the Biltmore House is beautiful regardless of the season. Take a guided horseback ride for incredible views, or simply stroll through Biltmore’s gardens and vineyards to experience all that this former grand homestead has to offer.
  • Waterfalls – The Asheville and surrounding areas offer a number of beautiful waterfalls for you to explore. The tallest is Upper Whitewater Falls, which plummets an astounding 411 feet and is located in the Nantahala National Forest, about 60 miles from the heart of Asheville. If you’re looking for an easy view that doesn’t require much of a hike, check out Looking Glass Falls, which is about 45 minutes from downtown Asheville along US 276 in the Pisgah National Forest.
